At the far end of the lake you will find Kungsörs Boatyard. Maybe we are better known as Schelin's Boatyard after our founder, the legendary small boat builder Oscar Schelin. We are Sweden's oldest family-owned boatyard and it´s now the fourth generation boat builders in the family. Today we are a modern shipyard with a genuine boatbuilder tradition well established after 100 years of operation.

Here you can get help with repairs and rebuilding of both wood and plastic boats. You can winter keep your boat in one of our boat houses and have your summer place at our secure bridges in Kungsör. If you want you can leave your boat in the harbor in the fall and retrieve it ready and launched in the spring
